You connect the number with Meta's own sign up window, without leaving Inboxi. The WhatsApp Business account is created in your Meta business portfolio and stays yours. Meta bills you directly for messages, at its own rates, and Inboxi adds nothing to them.
What you can do on the API

What Meta charges
Replies to a customer within 24 hours of their last message are free. Template messages that you start (marketing, utility and authentication) are charged by Meta per message, at its rate for the customer's country. Inboxi's plan is separate, from $49 a month.
Before you connect
You need a Meta business portfolio and a phone number that can receive a verification code by SMS or call. A number that is in use on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app today has to be removed from the app before it moves to the API.
