What is a wa.me link?
It is WhatsApp's official click to chat link. It opens a chat with your number without the customer saving it first, and if the link carries a message, that message is already typed in for them.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. A wa.me link works with any WhatsApp number: the personal app, the WhatsApp Business app and the WhatsApp Business API.
How should the number be written?
Country code first, then the number, with no plus sign, spaces or leading zero. A Saudi number 050 123 4567 becomes 966501234567. The tool does this for you.
Does the QR code expire?
No. The QR code holds your wa.me link itself, not a redirect through us, so it keeps working as long as your number is on WhatsApp.
Is it really free? Do you keep my number?
