Recognising a charge on your statement

Payments to us appear under this descriptor. If this is the line you did not recognise, it is us — please email us before raising a dispute with your bank. We can normally identify the invoice the same business day, and a direct enquiry is far faster than a chargeback.

INBOXI

Common questions

I do not recognise a charge from Inboxi. What is it?

Charges appear as INBOXI on your statement. Email contact@inboxi.app with the amount and date and we will identify the invoice it belongs to, usually the same business day. Please contact us before filing a dispute — it costs neither side a fee and is resolved much faster.

How do I cancel, and what happens to my data?

Cancel from your workspace billing settings or by emailing us. Your workspace stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After it ends, your data is retained for 30 days so you can export it or reactivate, and is then permanently deleted.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Yes. Every payment produces a receipt by email as soon as it clears, and every invoice is available in your workspace billing settings. We can also reissue an invoice with corrected billing details, a company name, or a tax registration number if you need it for your accounts.

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds are submitted to our payment processor within 5 business days. Your bank then posts the amount in its own time, typically 5 to 10 business days and sometimes longer for internationally issued cards. Refunds always return to the card originally charged.

Do you store my card details?

No. Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's PCI DSS Level 1 certified environment and never pass through Inboxi's systems. All we receive back is the amount, the card brand, the last four digits, and whether the payment succeeded — enough to match it to your invoice and nothing more.

Who can read the messages in my inbox?

Your messages are yours. Access is limited to the members you invite to your workspace. Our staff do not read workspace content except where you explicitly ask us to look at something in order to resolve a support request, and that access is logged. This is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
