Refund & Cancellation Policy

When a subscription payment is refundable, when it is not, how to cancel, and how to ask for a refund.

Effective date — September 4, 2026

01The principle

Every plan begins with a 7-day free trial that requires no payment method at all, so you can evaluate Inboxi before any money changes hands. Because of that, we do not refund periods of service that have already begun — but we also never make cancelling difficult, and we always refund charges that were made in error.

This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every payment made to IN General Digital Solutions LLC for the Inboxi service.

02The free trial

The trial lasts 7 days and costs nothing. No payment method is required to start it, and nothing is charged during it.

Because no card is taken, the trial cannot charge you when it ends — it simply stops. You are charged only after you have chosen a plan and entered a payment method yourself.

03How to cancel

  • Open your workspace billing settings and choose to cancel the subscription; or
  • email contact@inboxi.app from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Your workspace stays fully usable until then, and no further renewal is charged. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not require a phone call to process it.

04Monthly subscriptions

Cancelling a monthly plan stops the next renewal. The month already in progress is not refunded, because the service remains available to you for the whole of it.

05Annual subscriptions

Within 14 days of the first annual charge
Full refund on request, provided the workspace has not been used abusively. Access ends when the refund is issued.
After 14 days
The annual period is not refundable. You may cancel to stop the next renewal, and the workspace stays available until the paid year ends.
Renewal of an annual plan
The same 14-day window applies to each annual renewal charge, so a renewal you did not intend can always be reversed if you tell us promptly.

06Charges we always refund

  • A duplicate charge, or a charge of the wrong amount.
  • A charge taken after you had already cancelled.
  • A charge made fraudulently by someone not authorised to use the payment method.
  • A period during which the service was unavailable for a prolonged and continuous outage caused by us.

In these cases contact us and we will correct it without argument. You do not need to invoke this Policy formally.

07What is not refundable

  • A monthly or annual period already begun, except as set out above.
  • Unused capacity within a period — unused AI replies, unused team member seats, or days on which nobody signed in.
  • Amounts corresponding to a plan you chose not to use after the trial ended.
  • Charges arising because a connected messaging platform restricted or suspended your channel, since that is outside our control.
  • Subscriptions terminated by us for breach of the acceptable use section of our Terms.

08How to request a refund

Write to contact@inboxi.app from the email address on the account, including:

  • the invoice number, or the date and amount of the charge;
  • the workspace name;
  • what you are asking to be refunded, and why.

We confirm receipt within one business day and give you a written decision, with reasons, within 5 business days.

09How refunds are paid

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot send a card refund to a different card or to a bank account.
  • We submit the refund to our payment processor within 5 business days of approving it.
  • Your bank then posts it in its own time — typically 5 to 10 business days, and sometimes longer for internationally issued cards.
  • Refunds are made in the currency of the original charge. If your bank applies a different exchange rate than it did originally, that difference is set by your bank and is outside our control.

10Chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. A chargeback filed without contacting us freezes the funds for weeks, costs both sides a fee, and takes far longer to resolve than a direct message.

Charges appear on your statement as INBOXI. If that is the line you did not recognise, that is us — email contact@inboxi.app and we will identify it the same business day.

Where a chargeback is filed against a legitimately earned subscription fee, we will contest it with the signed-up plan, the usage record and the correspondence trail, and we may suspend the workspace while the dispute is open.

11Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The version that applies to a charge is the one in force on the date the charge was made. The date at the head of this page shows when it was last revised.

12Contact

Anything to do with a payment, an invoice, a cancellation or a refund should go to contact@inboxi.app. Every message is answered.
